Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
